Other things you’ll need to get together:
Charitable contributions, cash and non-cash receipts. All contributions require a receipt according to the IRS, there is no dollar limit on the this, meaning ANY donation including a $1 donation now requires a receipt. Contributions over $250 made in one isolated event require their own detailed receipt
Non cash contributions over $500 combined total to all organizations will require you to break out the items donated to each organization; therefore, you will need to provide the name and full address of each organization and the fair market value of the items donated, detailed using an IRS approved donation valuation table. This table can be found on several websites.

This list may or may not be an all inclusive list needed to complete your tax return accurately. A private consultation is always recommend in an effort to make sure your return is completed as accurately as possible. In addition, returns prepared early in the year (prior to February 15th) face the risk of missing information. There will be an extra charge to amend the return assuming all information was not providing during the initial preparation of the return.
